Thanks to Bajaj for introducing a unique Quadricycle in India which has ended the curiosity among the people for quadricycle experience. After a long wait, Supreme Court has finally approved quadricycles as a new category in vehicles.

Bajaj Auto has complete flexibility to benefit from this India’s update. At last, Qute from Bajaj will be riding in Indian roads. Measuring 475kg, the vehicle has to undergo crash tests prior to launch in India.

However, crash tests will determine safety standards of the passengers. In addition to conventional fuel runners, electric and hybrid quadricycles have the approval of Indian government. In fact, final specifications include emission, weight, and safety features those will be drafted by highway and road transport ministry.

In an ET report, “The final standards for the category have been issued. Any company that manufactures quadricycle can sell it in India. We have ensured that the safety standards for quadricycle are more stringent than the European standards,” said a ministry official.

The launch of Qute is almost gearing up which happens once the automobile industry receives a certification from Automotive Research Association of India.
