Another ranking of 2017 has bloomed. Bloomberg ranking places the world’s top 10 business schools and, guess what? Indian IIMs are not on the list. Yes, INSEAD Business School of UK has emerged as best management institute which offers MBA program. The Bloomberg annual ranking in Businessweek of foreign MBA programs established themselves outside the US have ranked among top 10.

The rankings of the schools completely rely on the surveys of recruiters, alumni and students. Further, it also depends on success in jobs and wages of recent graduates. INSEAD established its branches in France, Asia, and the Middle East grabbed the No.1 spot.  But a small disappointment for India’s business schools as they not entered foot in the top 10 list in Bloomberg ranking.

Bloomberg Ranking Listed Business Schools’ Brief:

INSEAD has founded in 1957 – a graduate business school. Originally, the institute has the name, “Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires” or European Institute of Business Administration. The three integrated campuses have 90 nationalities and students have to get an average score of 707 in GMAT to be a part of 10 months MBA programme.

UK’s London Business School settled at #2. This premier institute ranked at the 5th position last year. It offers only postgraduate degrees since its establishment from1964. Now, this business school has skipped 3 positions.

Coming to the rank 4, again it’s the UK. Oxford University dropped from 3 to 4 this year. It has a ranking score of 81.0. It’s time for Switzerland to show up its education program at #5. International Institute for Management Development formed in 1990 is an executive business education school placed at Lausanne. This institute skipped a spot and reached 5 from 7.

What else the UK has to rank another university from its Kingdom? Cambridge University fell off two ranks and settled at No.6. It founded in 1954. Indeed, the beauty of beauties, Italy shows up itself promoting a University, Bocconi School of Management under the University of Milan to #7. It got a ranking score of 72.9 and further, considered as the most prestigious schools in the world.

In fact, you got two business schools from Spain. Instituto de Empresa, IE Business School founded in 1973 located in the Spain capital, Madrid. However, institute witnessed 2 slips this year. Another business school, The Escola Superior d’Administració i Direcció d’Empreses (ESADE). A Jesuit educational institute is within the boundary of Ramon Llull University, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. These two have recognized as best schools in the Bloomberg ranking.

Paris, a beautiful city has shown us the beauty by ranking the Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris, an international business school at No.10. This college has established in the year 1881.
