Rajinikanth's Kaala
Rajinikanth's Kaala

Trailer of Rajini’s Kabali had boosted the expectations of the people on the movie as well as on the Rajinikanth’s act but the story didn’t excite the fans. Rajinikanth, to keep himself on fire and with the same director Pa Ranjith, he occupied in making “Kaala” in which Nana Patekar played the villain role.

Though there were controversies and expectations tuned down, Nana Patekar in the film received more likes than its predecessor. A careful examining on the trailer lets us know the story of Kaala.

Kaala Storyline

A slum area, Dharavi in Mumbai has a threat from Hari Dada (Nana Patekar), a political leader. He plans a residential project to build in the area as part of his Mumbai plan with an aim to make the city clean off the slums.

Karikaala (Rajinikanth) says a big “No” to the plan. This brings a revenge thought to Hari Dada on Kaala and hatches plan to kill him. Karikaala finally makes a move to unleash occupied land by Nana Patekar.

Whooping Points

Yeah, it’s Rajinikanth looks again who stole the attention of the audience. Black and black with white beard reminds us Big B in Sarkar. Angry and action scenes of Superstar are the whooping ones.

Nana Patekar elegantly drops the audience into the depths of “wow” with his role as a Mumbai politician.

Zarina Eeshwari, as a wife of Rajinikanth in the movie, gives a beautiful touch to the movie. With values in technical and production, the film has set in Dharavi, Mumbai but most of the scenes were shot at a recreated set.

Trailer of Kaala:

However, the movie showed a drop at family scenes. There was an uneven pace in the movie and boring moments made the movie to stop at 2.5 out of 5. The climax could be crisper.

Also, the movie has failed to light the audience faces with its songs. Only action scenes were received a great appreciation.
