A 25-year-old man attacked a Chennai college girl and killed her on Friday. The man, however, claimed the girl was his wife while the relatives declined his claim. The dead Chennai college girl identified as Ashwini Mohan, 20, who is a resident of Maduravoyal.

The girl was a student studying B.Com second year at Meenakshi college.
