The rains in eastern and northern parts of India paved the way for the floods. Especially in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, draining at least 46 people and 10 in Assam, causing landslides. A girl missed her parents in these landslides yesterday after their house destroyed.

The landslide appeared as a massive. It was due to a rainstorm buried roads and buses. In this terrifying floods, 46 people killed due to landslides. And, injured many others at Kotpuri near Padhar at Mandi-Pathankot National highway.

The National Disaster Response Force added that the highways blocked. While police and army rushed to the disaster’s place. Chief Minister who visited the spot said in a statement that the rescue operation continues until all the bodies found.

The financial assistance of Rs.4 lakh will be given to the deceased and Rs.1 Lakh to each family will be given said transport Minister G.S.Bali. In the Assam, 10 people died as a result of floods where 22.5 lakh people were at risk. Rescue operations began in the states by the Indian Army.

Rains in Assam

Assam State Disaster Management Authority has said that the flood deaths gone up to 99 as the Brahmaputra and 10 other rivers are overflowing in the states. The floods affected Kaziranga National Park, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, and Lawkhua wildlife sanctuary.

PM Modi gave a call to Assam’s CM on an insight saying that the Government will be supporting in all the aspects of all the people who are at flood-risks. 3.98 lakh were stuck at Dhubri and 3.14 lakh at Morigaon. In addition to this, 22 trains were canceled and few of them were skilled at various places as a result of floods.

The Centre is rushing additional NDRF teams to Bihar to help the ongoing rescue and relief operations in the flood- affected the area of the state,” said Union Minister Rajnath Singh in a tweet. According to the weather reports, Birpur recorded 45cm rainfall while Gaunaha and Bagaha 37cm rainfall.

Meanwhile, Delhi is having a moderate climate of 34.9ºC, lower temperature and maximum temperature of 27.3ºC. The other parts like Chattisgarh, Amritsar, Punjab, and Ludhiana are having moderate temperatures.
